Man City v Liverpool

Man City v Liverpool

Somehow through the final weeks of one of the most unpredictable Premier League seasons seen in some years Liverpool managed to throw away the title that was in their hands with a few games remaining. The pain from this must be tough to take and their first clash with eventual Champions Man City will be at the Yankee Stadium. Neither club will be looking to lose but each will know that much bigger fish will be fired int eh coming months as the early shots are fired in the new Premier League season. City managed to blast 4 past Milan in thrity minutes so it's unlikely Pellegrini will shy way from his already solid formula. Brendan Rodgers is still tinkering with his side due to players on leave but having managed a 1-0 against an Olympiakos side that beat Milan shows that they have the ingenuity to take on the best with limited resources.
