BMW PGA Championship: Outside the Open and WGCs this is by some distance the strongest field each year on the European Tour including all of the 'Magnificent Seven' British players in the World's Top 20 i.e. Rory Mcilroy, Justin Rose, Luke Donald, Graeme McDowell, Lee Westwood, Sergio Garcia and Ian Poulter. Luke Donald won here in both 2011 and 2012 so he is again the defending champion and so is now going for a 'three-peat' victory.

French Open Tennis: Rafael Nadal and Maria Sharapova will be out to retain their singles titles at the world’s premier clay court tournament; The tournament has been staged on the courts at the Roland Garros stadium since 1928 and was the first of the Grand Slam tournaments to join the "Open Era" in 1968. IPL Final - Chennai v Mumbai: Amid the intriguing but dark saga of the unfolding spot fixing and betting scam, two-time champions Chennai Super Kings take on traditional underachievers Mumbai Indians in the final of the controversy-ridden sixth edition of the IPL. A formidable but beleaguered Super Kings, who topped the round robin league on way to the title round, would hope for a replay of the 2010 finals to dash Mumbai Indians' quest for an elusive IPL crown.

UEFA Champions League Final: FC Bayern München and Borussia Dortmund drew both of their Bundesliga meetings this season but Jupp Heynckes's men ran out 2-1 winners in the German Super Cup in August to end a run of five straight defeats by the Schwarzgelben in all competitions. Bayern also knocked their final opponents out of the German Cup – with a 1-0 quarter-final victory in Munich – and are 20 points clear in the Bundesliga with two games remaining.
